On September 4, 2008 participating restaurants will donate a portion of their proceeds to the 2008 United Way Campaign. The money contributed will be used to assist the elderly, children and others in need in our community. This is a great opportunity to enjoy a nice meal with your family and help your community at the same time. Why not take the kids to breakfast before school, join a friend or co-worker for lunch, or treat the family to dinner, it's all for a great cause.
On September 4, 2008, we are asking local restaurants to donate a percentage of their proceeds to the United Way 2008 Campaign. The benefits of this promotion include:
Free Publicity.
United Way is partnering with local media groups to provide free advertising for this event. Our advertisements will include a list of restaurants that are participating in this event.
Increase Ethos.
Let your customers know that you care about your community and the people in it.
Support Your Community.
The United Way of Northwest Florida distributes money to various charities. Chances are you or one of your employees has used these services. There is an even greater chance that your customers have used one of these services.
